Sera Lake is an important natural beauty of Trabzon and Akçaabat, located 12 km to Trabzon  within the borders of the Yıldızlı Neighborhood, 8 km away from Akçaabat. Its length is 1200  m. The average width is 150 m. The deepest point is 20 m.

Sera is a lake formed by the  closure of the Sera River by a landslide in 1950. There are daily rest facilities for local and  foreign sightseeing around the lake where nature park is declared in 2010 and the public is  organized in an open park, walking, picnic areas around the lake.
